That moment you see a new place for the very first time and somehow it feels like you have seen it before, it feels familiar. Do you recognize this feeling? I felt this way when I was in New York. Maybe because I have seen bits of this city in many of my favourite movies and tv-shows (Sex and the city, do I need to say more?)
Times Square describes that feeling I just mentioned before. There must be dozens of scenes captured at Times Square. You have seen it before but it’s still feels different when you are actually there. Nothing compares to that moment you see and experience something for the very first time. Times Square may not be the most beautiful or impressive part of New York. But you can’t skip it when you are in New York. Day & night, it’s alive and filled with (mostly) tourists but I absolutely love that about Times Square, it reminds me a little bit of Piccadilly Circus in London. It’s a whole different kind of experience with a great, positive atmosphere!
‘New York, I think of nighttime, I think of Times Square and Broadway and nightlife and the city that never sleeps’ – Jimmy Fallon
