NEW YORK CITY KIND OF GAL (PART.1)

I should be working on my thesis but the truth is, I can’t really focus on anything right now because I’m feeling homesick for a city, which isn’t even my own. How can a girl focus after spending a week in New York City. It’s been four days since I’m back and boy oh boy, I’m missing New York ever since the plane landed in Amsterdam.

Since I can remember I’ve been dreaming of this city and for years I have thought that it was impossible for me to make this dream come true. I always thought that it would be something I would do when I’m older. Unfortunately I’m not a person with patience. If I want something, I want it right away. So I took this ‘New’ Year as a chance of making a few of my dreams and goals come true. Step 1: New York City. Two weeks ago I flew with Delta Airlines to New York City. How cliché as it may sound, I immediately fell in love with this city; it’s literally the city that never sleeps! How can a gal not fall in with this city? It’s filled with so much (positive) energy and beauty in each and every corner. One can feel so overwhelmed by the beauty and sky-crapersof New York.

What I love the most about a trip to a new place is to discover and exploring it by myself. Forget the tours just grab a map and let the energy of the city guide you. Trust me, you won’t regret it! Today I’m sharing part. 1 of the snaps I captured during my own tour through New York City!
Enjoy, love from Sam.

  1. This hits a nerve! I’ve been home from New York a week now and it’s horrible! I miss NY, the city, the energy, the people so much! Holland seems so bland in comparison…
