The reason why I love traveling is because it gives me energy in a way I have never experienced before. I just love to be in a new environment and to discover and explore new things. Not only does traveling inspire me, it gives me that rush to go back into the real world, and grab it by it tails with just two hands! That’s exactly the reason why I made a short trip few days ago.
In my 22 years I have visited some beautiful cities in Europe. A few of them have stolen my heart for sure. But not the way London has stolen my heart. I can still remember the very first time I visited London, it was also the first time I paid a visit to a big city (anywhere in the world and Europe) It was my sixteen birthday, and with my two best friends from birth, my mom and aunt I got the best birthday gift, a sixteen year old girl could ever wish for: A trip to London city!
I can still remember the details of my first trip. It was a very touristic trip for sure. But an adventure as well, three girls exploring and discovering a very beautiful and historical city. After my first trip, my mom and I made a deal. The deal was that once a year we have to pay a visit to London! And in the last six years we have stick to this tradition. After six years London feels like my second home. The connection I have with this city is so strange. I don’t know what it is. Is the red buses, the ‘mind the gap’ announcements at the tube, the traditional black cabs, tea time and traditions or the British accents, which I simply can’t seem to resist? I don’t know what it is but London has stolen my heart forever. (During my stay in London I got very sick. Unfortunately I couldn’t manage to take the photos which I had planned for, so sorry!)
